MP950 On-Wall Speakers
All M&K Sound 950 loudspeakers are designed from the ground up as an integral system for extreme realism and three-dimensional holographic imaging in collaboration with any M&K Sound subwoofer. To achieve these objectives, all models employ exclusive, identical 5.25” polypropylene woofers, integrated with the groundbreaking M&K Sound Pro tweeter via the exclusive M&K Sound Phase Focused crossover.
With deceptively modest dimensions, an M&K Sound 950 stereo or surround system offers superb sound quality with a minimal footprint in any living space.
The heavy, curved metal grilles are acoustically inert and are held in place with magnets concealed in the front baffle. This design eliminates the annoying buzz or rattle that typically occurs when other brands dress up their products with cheap, lightweight plug-in metal or plastic fronts. The M&K Sound 950 offers contemporary visual appeal at no sacrifice in audio performance.

IC95 In-Ceiling Speakers
The M&K Sound Frameless Architectural In-Wall loudspeaker range consists of open baffle designs as well as sealed box versions of the brand’s popular satellite and on-wall models to provide wide flexibility in terms of applications and acoustic preferences. The series maintains the sonic integrity that has made M&K Sound a legend for over four decades.
Unlike other In-Wall makers, M&K Sound employs the exact same drivers and crossover technologies found in our acclaimed professional and consumer reference monitors to deliver consistent sound coverage throughout the room for superior imaging in stereo and surround, even when the speakers are fitted in the ceiling.
M&K Sound drive units represent the culmination of decades of intensely focused transducer innovation.
The ambitious goal of the latest M&K Sound Architectural In-Wall range has been to counterbalance the inevitable acoustic consequences of reducing internal volume to 20 – 30% of a normal cabinet, while preserving the celebrated neutrality, realism and musicality that are the signature of M&K Sound.
This level of tonal consistency and timbre matching offers unique flexibility and the opportunity to mix and match speakers from across the entire M&K Sound line-up.
IC95 system feature a low profile “magnet-attached” metal grill for smooth and discrete installation finish. The compact and fully integrated IC95 system responds down 50Hz when mounted into walls or ceilings as an open back system, while when used with an available accessory “metal can house” – response will be controlled down to 70 Hz. Both configurations reply for easy integration with Miller & Kreisel subwoofers, complimenting to deliver the “extended bass”.
The clean lines and smooth, rounded edges of V Series subwoofers are available in elegant Black Satin with matching grille cloth and will be a discrete, stylish addition to any living space. V Series woofers are built on a stamped steel basket and incorporate a pulp cone, custom NBR (Nitril Butyl Rubber Suspension) surround, fiberglass dust cap and a newly designed motor system featuring an aluminium voice coil former and undercut, extended pole piece. The drive unit is capable of long, controlled excursion for extended deep bass with exceptional authority and precision.
Major design features borrowed from the top of the line M&K Sound X Series include aluminium AC shorting rings installed in the magnet system and a flared, vented pole design to effectively reduce compression and distortion. These devices make valuable contributions to the effortless bass transparency of the M&K Sound V Series. Sealed enclosures ensure exceptional transient response (a.k.a. fast, “punchy” bass) with minimal distortion. The elimination of a port opening also enhances flexibility of placement for optimal deep bass performance. Again drawing on technology from the state of the art X Series subwoofers, V Series subwoofers are driven by Class D power amplifiers with fully discrete analog input stages ideally integrated with the enclosure, crossover and woofer. V Series subwoofers feature a newly updated version of M&K’s proprietary Headroom Maximizer to provide gentle, non-invasive protection for exceptional dynamic capabilities that have made M&K Sound subwoofers world famous. For extraordinary installation flexibility and system integration, V Series subwoofers incorporate continuous control of crossover frequency, phase (0 – 180 degrees) and output level. For ultimate convenience, V Series sub woofers are equipped with stereo line level inputs and outputs and a three-position Power switch. In addition to On and Off, an Auto position can turn the sub on automatically when a signal is detected and off again after a period without a signal.
